The Burns Supper & Ceiliedh was a great success!
...THANK YOU!
We had food and drink and dancing to warm up the cold winter weather
but we could not have pulled this off without our tireless volunteers and
members and the warm and generous help of the community.
So a we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the following for making
it all happen:
Shona who designed the poster and drove the publicity.
Karen from Millbarista and Sandy from Thistle Locks for ticket sales.
The Masonic lodge for the use of their hall and for running the bar.
The Band Bard for Life' for the amazing live ceilidh music.
Brooklyn for his brilliant piping.
Tamlin for providing and installing the stage lighting.
Mary, Anna, Rosie and Cat for the planning, preparation and presentation of the food.
Helen and Nancy and Maurizios invaluable help chopping, peeling - and the fantastic
serving team.
Nancy, Helen, Debbie, Liz, Donna, Sarah and Cat for preparing the room.
