FRIARY PLAY PARK UPDATE!
We have received some fantastic news about the Trust’s fundraising drive for the new children’s play park in Friary Gardens!
Yesterday we were delighted to learn that we have been awarded funding from the Common Good Fund, a major milestone, and we are incredibly grateful. Huge thanks to all our councillors for their support over the past year, and to our funders so far: The Scottish Government, Fife Council, the Local Community Planning Budget, the Parks Department, the Common Good Fund, McDonald’s in the Community Foundation, and us The Inverkeithing Trust.
After a year-long journey, we are now close to reaching our target, with one final grant decision due in May from Fife Environment Trust. If successful, work is planned to begin in late August.
Everything crossed, the finish line is in sight, so watch this space!
