The Inverkeithing Flower Show will return on Sunday 16th August! As always you don't need to enter in advance just bring your items along on the day to be judged. Drop off all entries between 10.30am and 12 noon. If you have never been to the Flower Show check out our archives and all the great entries by folks in Inverkeithing! CATEGORIES & CRITERIAVeg/Fruit Basket or Box - anything you have grown, presented in a basket or a box, can be a varity or all of the same fruit/veg. Wonky Fruit/Veg - bring us your wonkiest weirdest home grown fruit/veg (the weirder the better). Fruit/Veg Animal or Person - make a person or animal out of fruit/veg (see examples below) it could be someone famous or your fav animal! Bunch/Bouquet of Flowers in vase/container - big or small as long as you have grown them yourself! Recycled Planter - a plant in a container that will make us smile! Is it in a welly or a hat? The skies the limit! Either grow some seeds or re-pot a plant you already have. Have fun! Large Cake Loaf Cake Small cakes (4) Tray Bake Scones (4 scones either sweet or savoury) Bread (sweet or savoury) Jam/Jelly (can also include curd, marmalade we will also accept chutney) Art painting, photography ANYTHING painted or drawn Craft - knitting, sewing, ANYTHING you have crafted Kids Baking - open to anyone aged 12 and under All entries for the Flower Show should be dropped off at the Masonic Hall, Inverkeithing, between 10.30am & 12noon (if you can't do this please contact us and we can make arrangements for you to drop them off the evening before if we can). |
