It’s Back!
For the 4th year running, we return to the Masonic Hall to showcase and award prizes for all your makes and bakes! As always, it’s not just flowers - we welcome entries that highlight your baking skills, artistic talents, and gardening triumphs too. Got a giant courgette? Brilliant - bring it along! You might even win a rosette! This year, proceeds go towards the Friary Park Regeneration Project, so please support us by either entering or simply coming along on the day to enjoy the amazing displays. We can’t wait to see what you’ve been growing, baking, and creating! 🌻🍰🎨 CATEGORIES & CRITERIAVeg/Fruit Basket or Box - anything you have grown, presented in a basket or a box, can be a varity or all of the same fruit/veg. Wonky Fruit/Veg - bring us your wonkiest weirdest home grown fruit/veg (the weirder the better). Fruit/Veg Animal or Person - make a person or animal out of fruit/veg (see examples below) it could be someone famous or your fav animal! Bunch/Bouquet of Flowers in vase/container - big or small as long as you have grown them yourself! Recycled Planter - a plant in a container that will make us smile! Is it in a welly or a hat? The skies the limit! Either grow some seeds or re-pot a plant you already have. Have fun! Large Cake Loaf Cake Small cakes (4) Tray Bake Scones (4 scones either sweet or savoury) Bread (sweet or savoury) Jam/Jelly (can also include curd, marmalade etc) Chutney Art Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, Craft knitting, sewing, painting, photogrpahy ANYTHING you have crafted/painted yourself Kids Baking - open to anyone aged 12 and under All entries for the Flower Show should be dropped off at the Masonic Hall, Inverkeithing, between 10.30am am & 12noon. |
